Non-payments on rent rose again in 2023, at a time of loss of household purchasing power due to high inflation and salaries that are not increasing at the same speed as prices.

A fact that, as the study explains, may seem "discreet", but is due to the fact that the number of homes available for rent has been reduced "drastically" in the last year, so, in relative terms, delinquency continues to be considerable depending on the existing rented housing.
